Collect raw morgans, walkers, mercs, SLQ, barber q. Looking at getting into earlier date coins pre 1900s.
Ebay says the seller has 97.2% positive feedback
513 positive feedbacks
47 negative feedbacks
that means 1 of 10 have left negs which would be closer to 90% not 97.2%
<< <i>44 negs in the past month, can't be all bad >>
Did you read why the guy received all of the Negs ? Buyers that do not read the whole auction are a pain in the arse.

I think this is because 10 negs by one buyer = 1 neg into the equation. If those 47 negs had been by 47 different individuals then the count would be closer to the 90% mark.

I did read the reason: nearly all buyers said "poor communication"

Barndog this was not directed to you it was a general statement.....
Read when the seller will ship the items. It is stated right in the auction. It looks to me that people jumped the gun and thought the bulbs, which received most of the negs, would be shiped immediately. If mid November rolled by and nothing was received then a neg would be warranted if the seller did not respond. Again buyers must read auctions completely.

I've had buyers make errors or inappropriate assumptions in the past...I think many of us have similar experience. A major difference between 100% positive feedback sellers and those with poor feedback is communication after the close of the auction. Seems this seller of plant bulbs has a problem with customer service. I don't anticipate the feedback will get much better with "cards & coins" grab-bag auctions. Yet, the gullible masses will still buy, go figure!
just shoot me if I ever start bidding on auctions like this
