I'm sorry. If you look at the date between 9 & 0 on upper side, you can see a shadow of "S" mintmark?

That doesn't look like a mint mark punch to me, and besides, the mint marks in 1908 and 1909 were punched on the reverse below the wreath.

I think you're seeing a coincidental nick on the surface.
Nice coin, though.
