With St. Louis winning the World Series...

how will it affect the value of Cardinal rookie cards such as Albert Pujols in the short or long term? I was fortunate enough to pick up some of his autographed rookies before they got too expensive. Your thoughts are apprecitated.

Good question - but could Pujols rookies go any higher? I like the guy, and think he's one of the very best players in the game, but his cards have been overpriced for years now. Other than him, I doubt there's going to be much interest in any other Cardinals rookie cards, not a whole lot of big names on that team.

  • Short term - maybe a little spike.

Long term - no significant increase in value. Anyone who wants a Pujols card can have 1 or 2 or 3 or....500.

Pujols value will increase to the next stratosphere after he wins the triple crown....THAT IS AN ACCOMPLISHMENT...
also his cards will continue to rise as he adds on more of the same type of years..his first 6 years have been remarkably conistent, fastest to 250 HR's and hes not just a slugger! he is Batting Crown material...

.Has anyone ever had more MVP votes in their rookies year? This guy has been amazing since he was 13 years old and has not slowed down...he is this generations RUTH....these players come along once very 100 years! look up the article "Pujols aces tests given to Babe Ruth" link

...I'd really like to find and sell my Topps Chrome Pujols. That silly thing has to be hiding with a pile of to be submitted cards somewhere.
