Any ideas what the 25th anniversary sets will consist of? Will this be the set to load up on, sinse 25th is more signifigant than 10th or 20th? Will the Mint bother recognizing the 25th year of gold and silver bullion?? Lets here some ideas

  • I don't know. Silver Anniversary year. Silver coins. Massive success of 20 year sets for the mint.

If I was the boss there would be a 25th anniversary set. But it makes sense so the Mint probably won't do it.

<<I doubt there will be one>>.

Why do u think that? Isn't the 25th year of anything worth recognizing?

If were the Mint director, I would push for a 25th Anniv. set

If they do, then it will probably 30,000 sets to 50,000 sets.

10TH ANNIV PLATINUM SETS NEXT YEAR.......
  • as far as will the mint bother to sell the sets, I think the mint will do any and all things they can to make the most money from collectors as possible so they will probably make the sets then flood the market with each coin individual after alot of orders are placed within the first day on sale

I can see a three coin set, with a silver, gold and Platinum.

One being RP, one PR and one being MS.

I would be willing to bet that there will be a 25th anniversary set. The mint will be able to make a hefty profit from having one, so why not? That being said I do like the 20th anniversary coins and bought my limit of silver and 1 gold (wish I could afford to buy my limit there.)

If there's a 25th Anniversary set I'll make sure and get the First Shipped designation.

with a small household limit, maybe 2 to 4 per, so collectors can get one before the speculators hoard them up. 25th year=25,000 sets, I like that idea.

Fine with me. I like very limited items. 10,000 looks like a good number.

With the mint making a third of the coins in EACH strike?

So that either coin in each set could be either strike, but 1 of each strike.

I hope they end the ASE program on its 25th year. I think it is written in the legislation that the U.S. Mint can stop production I think after 20 or 25 years, not sure which one it is.

How about the posible price of a 3-coin set...$4,200. The mintage could be as low as 5,000 sets.
