Question on eBay user - austrian taler

Has anybody every worked with alex54? This auction caught my attention. The date is wrong (should be 1682), but I was curious to know how you tell it is the PS variety?

    Yes, no problems with Alex.

    (although the Half Thaler seems kinda high)

    I think the price is probably in the ballpark if it is a true AU-58 and it does not have any problems. My Krause has it at $450 in EF. It is recognized as DAV-3509. It is the same coin I use for my icon.

    I love that design I have an EF/AU of the Half. I showed it to my wife and she even thought it was cool.

    I've bought a lot of stuff from alex54 and never had a problem. He's actually in my favorites as he usually has some decent stuff
