Well I went to my local card shop and bought some packs. I haven't ripped any packs since the late 80's. I bought a mixed bag of about 20 packs including some 2006 and a couple of packs from 93 and 94 Upper Deck.
I now have my first autograph card and my first game used jersey card neither of which are valuable, but like a virgin it was my first. I also pulled a Barry Bond's Diamond card. Here are some scans:

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
