Huge Die Crack Peace Dollar ??

Let me start by saying I know almost nothing about Peace Dollars. I was looking through some junk silver I had laying around and noticed these 2 die cracks on this 1922 Peace Dollar. The lower one starts to the left of the base of the neck and goes all the way across the neck, over through the T and over into the right field. The upper one, although not as dramatic, goes through the hair. Is this common? Does anyone have any additional info?

Cracks in those locations are common on Peace dollars.
