My embarrassing ebay auction...Where's Lawnmowerman??

Okay, believe me guys, this is hardly spam.

I've got nearly 600 ebay transaction, and with the exception of a poker book or two, a set of golf clubs, and a few Playboy magazines, they have all been cards.

My wife decided she wanted to sell something, and now this is in my eBay.......

My manly ebay auction

This will look just great in my feedback. How can you not trust a guy to send you a PSA 10 auto after he's selling stuff like this!!!!image

Where's Lawnmowerman??? He's got girls who would dig this stuff!!!

Probably got you beat. Sometime in the near future, I got to start selling my wife's Precious Moments collection. Problem is that they are 10-15 years old and both my wife and I don't have a clue as to what they are, how to sell them or what kind of value to expect. Can you see it? I've got old school vintage cards up for auction and then you see something about a I Love You Dearly figurine.

You're right, that might be worse. Fortunately my wife's other endeavors included Beanie Babies and Merry Moo Moo's. They're worth nothing and I have no fear of those going up for auction anytime soon. image

I decided not to list any cards in the next five days for fear of girls clothing contamination problems. I'll try again next week.

I just might have to bid, but I'll have to ask my wife what size my girl is. She is 5 1/2 right now.

Lucky for me, my wife doesn't know my eBay password...

My wife did the same thing a couple years ago. I made her get own Ebay id! However, I must say that she really made some good money on those auctions. More than you get from Once Upon A Child or other consignment store. The time spent cleaning, photographing, posting on the bay became too much so now it's Once Upon a Child... or leave it on the curb for a charity pick up if we are really lazy. Good luck!

HA, I am the high bidder. My girl is 4 1/2 so I am in the correct market for this one. Good luck to me

Will any of these grade PSA 10? Are there any game used in the lot?? None have been trimmed, have they??

  • This is why a man needs two eBay accounts! Plus, you can sell ungraded crap and nobody will know that you are a PSA customer . . . Except for us, of course!

I was just down this same road. My wife asked me to sell her pink rose paperweight that has been sitting in the closet for years. I had to list the darn thing twice, because I had no idea what it was and I screwed it up the first time. Maybe she's not as dumb as she looks after all.

Don't fret. Most of us are e-bay whores for our family. I buy CD's, wigs and all kinds of stuff for my 3 teenage daughters .Just shows you are a good family man.image
