Richardshipp..all we have to go on here, is
photos
of a coin.
The original picture was obviously a misrepresentation of what this coin really was.
In the photo, it looks like the coin was bathed in bright harsh light, that makes it look like it was chrome-plated or something.
Wouldn't you agree with this?

Oh Jeez, I guess my attempt at humor doesn't translate well over the internet.....
Anyway the answer is:
I didn't turn it into the MS66. I had to buy a "real unplated one".
I wasn't trying to trick you with the pictures, it was just a joke.
