Whenever I go to Seattle I always stop in at Brown's Cooperstown, 4258 Fremont Avenue N, 206/632-1506. Open Tue-Sat 11-6. He's always has a decent selection of old vintage stuff, though you won't find much high end gradeable stuff unless he just got it in. Has one of the biggest selections of ZeeNut and other Pac League cards, most of them in P-F condition but priced fairly. I picked up a couple of lower grade T206 cards on my last trip. Seems I always leave there with something.
if you go to Pike Place Market there is a place in the basement called Market Coins. I haven't been there in a while but in the past he's had some vintage.
The Pikes Place guy is overpriced and doesn't seem overly eager to sell. Just my impression. Very little high-grade stuff, but plenty of eye candy, nonetheless.
He just sat and talked on the phone when I visited.
I'll second Meathook's review of the Pike's Place guy. Most of what I saw was overpriced overgraded vintage. If you are going to Pike's anyway, you might want to take a look (it's a small store) but don't go out of your way.
You can also skip the antique stores at Pike's if you're looking for sports stuff.
Years ago, Norm Johnson, who was a Seahawks player had a store in the 'burbs. I don't know if it still exists but you might want to ask around or check local listings.
