How do you Upload image smaller than 50kb?

I am trying to upload an image here but 225kb is my size and I do not know how to make it smaller so it can be uploaded here. It says it can't be over 50kb. Can anybody help?

I've had too email my own picture to myself.
This worked as it says do you want to make it smaller and you click yes.
Hopefully this works for you.

You have to have some kind of photo editing software. I use ACDSee. Microsoft photo editor comes with lots of computers. Dell provides something or another with their computers but it may expire after 30 days. There are probably free editors available online. I would check at cnet.com or download.com. make sure you get it from a reliable source. --Jerry

setup a free account at www.photobucket.com , upload your image there and then just tag it to your post. No size restrictions.
