Be sure to read the backs of the cards , tons of great facts!!!!! I found Mike Morgan the most intersting, he pitched in 78,79, not again until 83 and then in 85. and somehow he went on to pitch for a million more years and teams!!!
Thanks again,
Don

Do three sharp corners count?
There are some interesting sub-sets mixed-in (i.e., "Turn back The Clock" with Maris, Mays, etc., "The Pete Rose Years", All-Star Cards, Team Leader cards) , with all those HOF players, plus a good mix of quality players, makes these "fun boxes to rummage thru!"...

the A's cards drive me nuts. There is just too much black around the green and if you look at someone like carney lansford, the top of the picture is black as well , just a very bad design. con40 should have worked fro topps as he would never have let something like that go through!!!!
Second, after ripping these vending boxes I'm thinking about trying to piece together a set of the All-Star cards in 9+ grades. They are virtually impossible to get with even remotely decent centering. I've ripped 3 vending boxes and a rack box in the last week and didn't find a single card that would even have the most outside shot at a 9. The best centering I've seen has been about 65/35.
Plus, it's a nice looking set. Too bad Steve doesn't have any more rack boxes. That was a great deal.
