  • Who is that seller? That card is so undervalued, should have gone for at least 15,000

Is it me or does the centering on the back look odd? I can't see paying that much money on one person's opinion.

Back is not perfectly centered as well as the front, but it's within the guidelines for a PSA 10.

Card is also sightly tilted in the holder in the photo of the back, making it look a little worse than it should. It may not be a strong PSA 10, but it's better than a 9 for sure.

so what does a 9 go for? Whats the diff between a strong 9 and a weak 10?? 5 grand?? I don't think so. Im so unimpressed with
this. I mean, if you call it a 10, or some card thats just sick and expensive, it better be perfect. I know whats in the guidelines..but
for 10 grand I don't think its asking too much for the most key aspect of the card (centering) to be perfect!

I'm sure if you were the one submitting the card to PSA, you'd have a different perspective. image

It's hard to tell the whole story from those photos, but it's a sweet card for sure, and within the guidelines for a PSA 10. For those with the deep pockets to afford a purchase like this, getting a PSA 10 card, even if it's not a "strong" PSA 10 is much more preferrable to buying a PSA 9. It's all relative.

I am an expert on 72 Topps.....................PSA 9s go for between $400 - $550......................the last two PSA 10s on ebay before this card went for $1750 and about $2800.............................................The $10,000 + price is just STUPID!!!

Stupid, maybe, but higher prices are good for the overall health of the hobby. A card is "worth" only what one is willing to pay (or bid) for it.

Edit: There were at least six different bidders who bid well higher than 2K for this card, so it wasn't a bidding war that drove the price up.

But unlike serial numbered cards, A PSA 10 card will only be more populous as time goes on. Yes still rare, but 1 of 5, and yet
again is based on one persons opinion...and that opinion is shaky at best. I agree thats stupid money
