The seller has all computer equipment listed for sale. Did this guy ever sell coins, by chance? Because with coins, having perfect feedback with that volume of sales is virtually impossible.

No more impossible then what they're selling. In fact, a seller specializing in computer components and electronics is MORE likely to get negged. There are wannabe geeks buying this stuff all the time who don't have a clue about setting it up, and WILL blame the seller for their own stupidity.
I've only got 45 transactions under my feedback belt, so I know nothing. It just seems to me that with all the complainers out there, you're bound to hit an unreasonable person, just by random chance. Especially when there are so many people making unreasonable demands (like the lawyer some one sold to in the other thread who thought it was okay to change the shipping terms after he'd made the purchase!)
If you haven't noticed, I'm single and miserable and I've got four albums of bitching about it that I would offer as proof.

With computer equipment it is even more impossible.
plus, there are plenty of "neutrals" that could have been negotiated down from negatives. The number might be impressive as 100%, but it likely doesn't reflect reality. Nonetheless, with that few outlier feedback responses, the seller is likely doing a stand-up job.
I basically just sell coins and have 4,500 positives and no negatives. Even more impressive is moderncoinmart. Pushing 18,000 positives and no negatives.

<< <i>over 50,000 items sold on ebay, and not a single negative! Whew! >>
And all while using only one ID, no less. Impressive, indeed. Would that all Ebay sellers had such feedback...
Or do you think it's a scam? Over so many transactions, you would think someone would have something to complain about, even if it wasn't justified...
