ebay SLOOOOW. Any trouble sniping?

Ebay is terribly slow right now. Probably all those sellers taking advantage of 20-cent listing fee. There's a couple of auctions I plan to snipe within the next two hours. Should I modify my snipe time due to slowness?

I don't think it's the cheap listing fees. The slowness started yesterday.

I think it depends on what server one is hitting. For me, it's been so slow that it's frequently unusable.

I haven't tried sniping yesterday or today yet. Just takes a very long time to log-in and to browse and I have highest speed DSL. Am concerned that my sniping software (I have TURBOSNIPER that runs on my PC) will be too late if connection takes so long.

If you're running local software, it could be a problem. Less likely to be a problem with an online service since they are probably not routed to the same eBay server as you.
