great circulation find

I found a 1972 DDO (the one with the very strong doubling on all the obverse legends) on the floor in my school library. AU58 BN with still some red color in the protected areas. Not the finest AU58 I've seen image, but I like it nonetheless. When my eye first spotted it I almost just walked by and didn't pick it up. Any ideas on value?

I can't figure out how to post pictures, but I'll post pics of the coin if someone tells me how

Awesome find! I would suggest you notify both Coin World and Numismatic News, they love to print this kind of story. Of course, it might knock the story about the 90th Minnesota quarter variety onto the back pages. image

    Cool. image

A few years back it would have been worth a hundred or two but is probably more now.
