Milk spot eagles

Would you consider a designation for MS eagles that would be a MS70 if not for the possible milk spots?

MS69ms maybe?

Or a time limit to regrade them as MS70 if there are no milkspots?

    Hi Jim,

    You raise a good question, as it is highly likely that there are some MS-70 non-spotted Silver Eagles in PCGS MS-69 holders. Unfortunately, there is no time limit that would give us any level of comfort at this moment. My advice on the 70's is to buy carefully and watch 'em closely.
