Has anyone received their Norweb or Archangel catalogs yet from Stack's?
I was just wondering when I can expect to get them. I thought I read a post that someone already received their copies, but I am not sure. I also need to get used to inquiring about multiple (ANR) Stack's catalogs coming at once.

I had this silly idea that I would try to get through the year with a net-zero expense for coins -- making as much selling duplicates as I did buying new pieces. Gee, thanks, Stacks!
I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

That's a ludicrous idea for a forum member. Perhaps in mid-December, but you should be suspended from the forum for that kind of thinking.
I have already bid on a piece.

Whoever heard of such a silly idea? It's never happened for me either.

I don't think it was Mrs. L; remember what Pistareen said in this thread?

Consuela tells me you're not getting your household chores done, and forbade me from updating the page until you took out the trash. Oh, and she says the next dirty sock she has to pick up will be the last one, and whatever dios mio means.
I think Consuela meant no new catalogs, either.
Check out the Southern Gold Society
I already received mine, BWAHAHAHA
The catalog rocks as usual. Pistareen knows way too much about medals for someone that young

Which one didn't stunk?

It's online..... included in the Norweb Collection sale under 'territorials'. Link

Yes, it took me a while to figure out there was no separate catalog.

I think the fact that they showed that apparently faux red Archangel catalog cover on their website confused a lot of people, myself included.

I'll never tell....well at least for a while.

Confused me as well ... it wasn't until I was reading the actual catalog last night that I saw it was in the Norweb sale.
The specialty and other areas look much stronger.

<< <i>Apparently there were a few minor problems in the merger. Look at the catalog description of Lot #2276, and then look at the online description. >>
Well, its die state became more advanced when it went online. (And checking my copy of the Hain catalog, apparently the 1.5 designation is probably correct, to the extent that I can make any sense at all out of Noe and pseudo-Noe numbers.)
