ASE GRADES IN 10/24/06

Looks like mine are in line with others. They were all probably rattling around in the box I never opened. I feel very fortunate under the circumstances. I only wish a couple more of the reverse proofs had done better. However, I do have at least one complete 69 set.

The mint does not appear to be doing as good a job with the silver as with the gold.

    10 times more coins? 1/10th the 70s.
  • That's why I got 20 sets coming! The problem is, I don't think I'm good enough to pick out the winners to send in for grading.

    ONETHREE -

PM me. I got grades today as well. I did better on the REV PROOFS in 69. But I need MS69's. We might be able to help each other out (trades) to get some more 69 sets each. I have the first strike/20th anniv labeling.

I didnt get any 70's save for one PR70DCAM.
  • Just realized you only have 2 MS69's.

If anyone out there received sets back from and cant make up many 69 sets but needs rev proof, reg proof and can trade some MS69's, we might be able to make some sort of deal

Or outright wants to sell MS69's....PM me.
  • Why are there so many more MS coins graded than reverse proof or regular proof?

2 coin sets also had the uncirculated eagle.

  • I'm wondering if anyone unhappy with the PCGS grades they got. Will send the coins to NGC?

If you would do that, would you first have to crack them and repackage in the OMP?

If you didn't repackage them. Would they be reholdered at the same grade without really looking?

Could you specifically ask for a "regrade"? And if so would they have/leave the "first Strike" "20 th Anniversary" on the NEW NGC lables?
(Old man) Look I had a lovely supper, and all I said to my wife was, “That piece of halibut was good enough for Jehovah”.

(Priest) BLASPHEMY he said it again, did you hear him?
  • Right the two coin sets. I hadn't thought of that. That's why there are more ms graded.
