Which German States talers, if any, do you find are more difficult to find in original condition. That is, not cleaned or had loop removed? Is there any one German State in particular?

In my experience, all of the German States Thalers are difficult to find in Uncirculated condition, up until the German Empire was formed in 1871. Frankfurt and Nurnberg put out some nice quality Thalers in the late 1700's (city-views, in particular) and the commemorative Thalers and Double Thalers of Bavaria (from the 1820's and 1830's) are especially attractive. However, I'm drawn to the Bavarian "Madonna" Thalers of the mid to late 1700's...I actually collected them by die variety at one time. Of the hundreds that I've owned, only three or four could be called Uncirculated.
