image

I just found the key. It's ITALY, Napoli (Regno). Roberto I il Saggio (the Wise) d'Angi¨°. 1309-1343. AR Gigliato (27mm, 3.82 g, 12h). Possible posthumous issue. Uncertain mint.

I was about to say, "I did a Google search for "honor iudiciu" (the only bits of the reverse legend I could read for sure) and found it" - but you beat me to it! image

Late medieval Italian (King Robert of Naples, c. 1310-1340) - good score! image
Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.
    Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, "Meditations"

Thank you all the same. I found the key in CNG shop. That's a great library. image
  • Since Robert's grandfather was son of Louis VIII of France, the coat of arms of his family is similar to Franch royal's. That can explain the similarity between medieval Napoli coins and France coins.
