    The Mint is working in mysterious ways these days.

    In years past the mint state coins were actually reverse proofs.

    Had to do a quick mockup to picture what it would look like. I think that the smooth even surfaces on this coin would look great in reverse- much better than the high-detailed gold and silvers.

    You would have thought the Mint was producing them with all the others this year.
    Doesn't make sense! I would've bought some. But then, with all the offerings they
    have now, I'm broke anyway. Hopefully next year.

    Maybe 10,000 sets of reverse proofs in all 3 metals? There's time yet...
