    It's from the San Fran Mint to boot. As one of the most eye-catching and dramatic striking errors you'll ever see on a Walker, I bet it easily goes for at least $8-10,000.

    I had all three pieces "raw", in my hand at the
    ANA/Denver.

    The D/S's are great, and the off-metal is unique,
    to my knowledge.....

    I examined them as well. They surfaced at the Denver ANA. The dealer selectively showed them to a few dealers, entertained offers and comments, and then decided to auction them off instead. The off-metal is unique for the planchet it is struck on.

    Here's the only other known Walker struck on any foreign planchet from any country

    I'll guess $25k plus due to the date, mint mark and dramatic double strike.

    Could you imagine buying a $1,000 face bag of "junk" silver and finding this coin in there?
