I know the Huskers aren't respected yet, but how can they fall 4 spots in the polls losing in the la

Plus, their only 2 loses are to USC and Texas. I know they lost a lot of respect the past few years but beating Michigan in the bowl last year, (basically the same Michigan team that #2 right now) and nearly beating Texas last weekend, I don't know what it's going to take to get some respect back. image

    Instead of crying about close games, win those Texas and USC games and you will get respect!! Look at the rest of your schedule......none of your opponents even have winning records. Playing crappy teams from crappy conferences don't help your ranking. Games against Division II schools don't help either. I'm surprised you're even ranked at all!

    They didn't finish the job. I'm just glad they are still in the Top 25!!

    They will get thier respect if they win the re-match in the Dr. Pepper™ Big 12 Championship Game!

    Texas didn't start to regain respect until after a certain Big 12 game a couple of years ago against NEB image
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    That was a few years ago, before the Solich - Callahan transition era (i.e. the Nebraska sucks for 4 years era)

    What's ridiculous is that ANYONE should fall in the polls after having lost a close game to a higher ranked team. Uh, one team's ranked 7 and the other's ranked 17-- the 17th ranked team is SUPPOSED to lose the game-- that's why they're ranked lower. Why would you drop them after losing a game they're supposed to lose?

    The whole polling system-- the preseason polls, the way teams aren't punished enough for playing a K.State type schedule-- is so pitiful that it's actually compromised my enjoyment of NCAAF. Michigan ranked ahead of Auburn and Florida? Wha???

    Hey they played UConn!! A basketball school, but unlike F$U, West Virginia's football team can beat the basketball schools.
