Saturday was a good coin day

Bought 28 GSA dollars (including better date and non-CCs) in the shop.

That afternoon, my wife and I drove up to Enosburg Falls to visit her parents, and I bought this coin on the way:

that might be the nicest pic of a 5 Ive ever seen. (as far as giving an indication of what it probably looks like in-hand) remarkable !!

The coin is really nice. I am sending some coins in for grading, and I plan to add this coin to the group. The straight lines on the obverse of the coin are not scratches, but some sort of toning. I was thinking about trying to remove the toning with MS70, but I don't want to brighten it (it has a nice original skin).

No offense, but while it looks nice and lustrous, it appears pretty baggy to me.

Nice coin. Looks like a MS63 due to the tick and scuff marks. I've seen worse in PCGS MS63 holders.

Pretty coin with nice luster. Is it my imagination or did someone scratch a 5 pointed star on the face?

I never claimed it was an MS67! image

I'm thinking MS63 too. The coin is real nice in hand.

No scratches, but there are some toning marks that are straight lines on the coin.
