Another fun find.

I have a kind of odd coin finding story for you folks tonight.
In the grocery store I work at one of the things my managers often ask me to do is walk around the store putting things back where they belong and picking up trash people have left and the wrappers of things that have been opened and so forth. So I was in the middle of doing just that when I saw a fast food drink cup sitting on a shelf, I picked it up and something rattled in the bottom. When I looked in there was a dime in the cup, but it didn't look normal. When I tipped the cup to pour the coin out it fell on its side and I knew why it looked funny, it didn't have a copper stripe on the edge. It is a 1959 silver Rosie, in pretty good shape compared to the other circulated ones I've seen.
I know I'm silly, but I'm really excited. This is the third silver dime I've found and the second Rosie. This really made my day.
Cheers,
Jessie L.

Actually, I think it's supposed to be "The drink fairy".

lol, Yeah something like that.
The cup was dry so my guess is someone used it to bring some coins into the store to the counting machine. Why they would have not put that coin in the machine is beyond me because I would think if they knew not to pour it in with the other coins they would have kept it.
Quite puzzling.
