I'm more perplexed about the stupid robot animation they use. What the hell is up with that thing? Why is it jumping up and down getting loose? It's a freaking robot. It doesn't need to loosen up.

When Fox got into sports and did some hockey years ago, I remember they added animation to the puck and to shots on net that made watching hockey a nauseating experience. The same approach in baseball, coupled with Buck and McCarver, has replaced ipecac in my medicine cabinet.

I thought ABC with Al Michaels was the best. They had amazing camera work, and Al knew when to shut and and let us watch the game. When he did say something it was worth hearing.
