Whats the highest price paid for a Roosevelt?

StoogeStooge Posts: 4,639 ✭✭✭✭✭
I personally paid $1,550 for 1 Roosie. What is the highest price received for a Roosevelt dime that someone knows about. I know that some of the Silver MS68FB Roosies bring thousands. The 1968 and 1975 NO-S Proofs command tens of thousands.

Any thoughts? image

Not sure about the highest price I paid for a Roosie. Maybe $700. to Nick or Rick on time payments.
But I did sell one for $1400. a few years ago, and it's still top pop 2/0 in a very tough FB year.
We might see some records this coming Sunday night on Tele Trade. There are some real scarce years in high grade Roosie's to be had. I think it would be safe to say there should be a 4 way tussle to win a couple of them. No, not me I owe for two to forum members now. image

There was a 1949 MS68FB that sold in a Heritage auction for $8300.
But this coin holds the record for a mint state coin.

Nick, do you remember me telling you I seen this at a table in Chicago? Nice coin! It was sitting next to a 1939-D MS69FB Merc.

Should be fun watching the prices on some of these clads.

Nick, remember those 2 early-on PCGS MS68FB coins selling for $10,000.00 each? That's the highest MS prices I'm aware of.

That 46 MS69 would look good in my birthyear set. If I had a birthyear set. image
