I am interested in what off the wall tokens or unusual coins you have in your collections. I am looking for unique and uncommon specimens. The item does not need to be in pq condition, just an odd piece in your personal collection. No pics of stock photos please. Items will be judged by the awe factor, so how the other forum members comment does play into the decision of who wins my giveaway.

I will let the contest go until 10:30 pm EST 10/22/ 06 (Sunday night) and will pick the top three. The winners will each recieve, out of an uncirculated roll, a 1962 Australian sixpence.

This was a junk box find a number of years ago. Worn and damaged, but still neat. Roughly the size of a doublt thaler (big).

Of course #3 will prevent you from using Cladiator's token too, which might be disappointing

A medal from the 1915 Panama-Pacific exposition. It's pretty beat-up, but according to Hilbert/Kaplan, only about 20 are known.

Thanks for sharing your odd and ends. The main reason I have decided to do this giveaway was to become more involved in the forums and also revive the interest in the darkside that seems to be fading since I first started posting on the darkside. I just love little round discs of metal, whether it be coin, token or medal. And I want to personally start sharing some of my wonderful purchases I have come by over the last year. Anyways, enough with the ramblings.
