PSA Submission Question.

PSA states that any card with a declared value over $500 must be submitted under the "Express" service type. My question is, what if you have a card that has a shot at a PSA 10 grade and is worth at least $500 if its graded PSA 10, but is worth under $500 at PSA 9 ? Do I submit it under service type "Regular" or "Express" ??

  • It's all about your estimate. Gives PSA a guide for insurance for the return trip. Raw subs, I always insure for what I paid.

I would submit that under "Regular".

Regular - "valuation" used to be determined by PSA 8 SMR.
Now, valuation is established by the card owner....
....I would assume, a reasonable valuation needs to be made.

  • You're submitting a raw card to them. I would use raw book value from Beckett or Tuff Stuff.
