Shipping boxes.....

I'm fairly new to shipping graded cards. I usually use the bubble mailer with cardboard around the cards. I'm looking for suggestions on how to send 3-5 graded cards or a more expensive ($100 plus) cards. I like the boxes that PSA returns cards in. Is there anything similar on the market. I asked PSA but they said the boxes are custom made for them and they don't sell them.

Thanks!

Welcome to the boards! When I sell a high dollar card or multiple PSA-slabbed cards, I usually ship USPS Priority. The Post Office supplies the boxes for free and you'll have the peace of mind (and your buyers!) that your cards will arrive timely and packaged well.

Submit more cards and you will have more of the boxes PSA uses!

  • I use these 400 count boxes from BCW http://www.bcwsupplies.com/prod-400.htm

Work great and cost only $0.35 if you buy 50 (much cheaper than bubble mailers).

    Welcome Socal

I believe it's better to be safe - graded cards bubble wrapped in a box will get there every time (practically) in perfect condition.

I just got a T3 in a bubble wrap that looks like the package was dragged along the asphalt!

Good luck and don't be a stranger.

  • the 400 count boxes work great..I agree 100%

Cheap also...and most can be had at any localsports card store.
You can also check out Uline for their products...but you'd probsbly have to order in large bulk to make it cost effective.

and don't forget...your local Post Office can supply you with all the Priority mail boxes that you need...or you can order them online as well. Stock up on flste rate boxes too...you might sell more than 3-5 cards to the same person...these come in handy. All of these boxes are large enough that you can doubloe box inside as well...no such thing as too much protection.

    Best of luck...

The Free Priority Boxes from the post office that are about the size of a video tape, are what I use. They work great ! You can get as many as you want free.

I use the video tape boxes from the PO as well- wrap the cards in some bubble wrap, toss them in the box and you're good to go.
