    Somewhere on ESPN they have the good transparent background ones. The Phish one's from a Phish poster message board and the Arsenal jersey is from the English Premier Leauge's site.

    Congrats to the Cards...good to see quality managers like Larussa and Leyland get to the Series....and Larussa with arguably his least talented team, the team most wrote off after their terribly inconsistent year. Shows just how brilliant these guys really are.

    Tigers/Cards in the series? Gotta love 2 old school franchises in the world series.

    Since they just beat the Mets what difference does it make, right?

    I'm just a little pissed right now.

    After all of the Mets pitching injuries, losing their opportunity in the 6th, getting baffled by Wainwright in the 9th, it sucks when you finally finally enjoy a season in which their in first place by a mile and it boils down to this. Argh, indeed.

    Mets fans,

    In all seriousness, that must have been a killer for the Mets offense to tease you like that in the 9th, and then have Beltran watch strike 3. I would rather my team go down 1-2-3 than to tease me like that. I just knew Beltran was going to hit a grand slam or a doulbe in the gap.

    Regardless of who won, that was one great game.

    So was I, but that was one hell of a pitch. Even if he was looking curveball, I'm not sure Beltran could have done much with it.
