That will be one of the greatest catches, especially if the Mets win this game.

I dare say it ranks up there with the best of all time.

For my money, there is nothing better in team sports than an outstanding outfield play, whether it be a robbed home run or a flat out diving catch. The one from game 7 was particularly sweet. He couldn't have possibly jumped any higher or "farther". AWESOME!

    To strike out looking?

Hell of a way to end a game.

True, but that was a hell of a pitch. Not down the pipe by any means.

Best pitch Beltran saw was the first one he was taking on all the way. Right in his wheelhouse.

oh and two count though you have to be swinging. Mets bats killed them. ironic end to the series for a team with two of their best pitchers out.

Well, the important thing to note is that the White Sox are NOwhere to be seen this year. image

    Very disappointing for Mets fans.

I believe that one should never get caught looking to end a game and the playoffs.

I like David Ekstein - he chokes up and swipes at the ball - tries to put it in play - and gets lucky.

The Mets played one heck of a series and have nothing to be ashamed of.
