Who is your Mickey Hart??

In the movie For the Love of the Game, the manager said something like, "Gotta love Mickey Hart," after he made that nice catch to save the perfecto.
Who is that one player, who isn't necessarily the best player, but he has some quality that makes you "gotta love him."
RULES: State your player, explain why, give one specific example, and then end it with, "You gotta love______"
I would say Rick Dempsey. Gritty catcher, fun guy. The tarp is obvious! Then he had some fun post season at bats too! I remember a regular season at bat when he was on LA, and he was facing Randy Myers. Myers just kept trying to bust him in with inside heat after inside heat, and Dempsey knew they were coming, and Myers would not relent.....it was a stubborn showdown! Dempsey hit about seven straight foul balls down the left field line, some being foul home runs. Then finally, he straightened one out off of the stubborn Myers and hit a home run. A fried of my family always talks about that at bat when I see him at parties. Man, you gotta love Rick Dempsey.

In football, I was a Dolphins fan during the Marino years and always loved Jim "Crash" Jensen because he played like 9 positions and was involved in every play. Steve Tasker was also fun to wacth on speacial teams for the Bills, although he might be the worst announcer in the history of the NFL.
Basketball, Jeff Hornacek never missed an open shot or foul shot, not to mention getting bonus points for being so ugly.

Edit- You gotta love Fred Lynn, Jim Jensen, Steve Tasker, and Jeff Hornacek.
