Selling some wax...should I do it?

Hello all! I've only been here a few weeks, but thanks to everyone for your help, honesty, and laughs. It feels like a real community here! I have an opinion here that I want to ask of you all. I just recently obtained a ton of wax from another collector dating from 1984-1996. Should I crack it open or sell on Ebay? I'm leaving it up to you all because I can't make up my mind. I'm giving it 24 hrs before I make a decision. Please help!!!!

I would open up at least a box of each issue and when you get cards that you think are high grade worthy stop and sell the rest.

If it were me though I would open up everything in less than a couple days image

I'm with you Matt. I'd rip em all....well most of them.
Especially the higher end product if 89UD, 90 Leaf, 92 Bowman are in there.
I'd do 84 Donruss, and 85 Topps too. Whatever is left; dump em for grading fees.
  • I think you should just send them to me and I'll open them. You seem to be under too much pressure. lol

Rip them bad boys and sell the junk to pay for grading fees.

Is your goal to maximize return? If so, I'd say sell any unopened boxes, and bust any loose packs. If your goal is to have fun, bust them all image
No such details will spoil my plans...
  • 84-87 open

    88 sell

89 Fleer open to look for rarer Ripken versions image
    other 89 brands sell

    sell the rest

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
