you call that mature jumping around like an idiot for 14 minutes after he hits a dinger ?
whatta goofball. please get the cameras off him for a second.

Youthful enthusiasm, man. He didn't show anyone up on the field. He was horsing around in the dugout. What's wrong with that? Not his fault that FOX has a million cameras to catch everything all over the place. The kid is 23 years old. Give him a break.

first, I'm not watching the game. my stupidself has the pc in my basement and the hd upstairs. But I meant he matured in his baseball iq; lowering his strikeouts with better patience, and has taken advantage of his basepath threat. Also, I haven't even watched a pitch today lol.

He needs to play like he's been there before, doesn't matter how old you are.

sh1t axtell agreed with me. I immediately change my opinion.

he did a friggin dance before he went back into the dugout, and on the way down the steps.

in 100% honesty, if ANYONE did that chit to me on the mound ? next AB he's skipping rope. (no, I dont throw above the waist)

And you and I both know if this had been Pujols or any Cardinal doing it, the mets fans would be up in arms over it.
  • Simple solution, don't plunk him b/c he's to dangerous on the bases. But make him dust himself off before he steps back in the box. Don't throw at his head, but make sure he knows he was stupid to not be sportmanlike.

hyp-I've been beaned, not to fun. When I played I got hbp an average of once per game, not sure why exactly. I never showed anyone up, except stealing bases. Maybe its embarassing to have a clearly overweight kiddo steal 2 a game? That and I leaned into alot of high and tights.

the mets are cashing in, chipping away, and the cards are letting opportunity after opportunity slip away.
this is starting to feel like a mets win, with the bullpen they have.

but, Ill watch this to the end just hopefully it'll be close enough to have to get WAGNER in the game to see if he's got the guts to save one with the season on the line, preferably against Puhols with 2 outs and a bases loaded! woop !
  • I'd bet against Wagner, he just doesn't seem to me to have the moxie to take a big game on his shoulders.

Don't know where you're getting this from, he's been solid all year.

  • Oh I know he's a solid closer, but I just don't see it in him. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see him pulling through in the big game.

I hope he doesn't even need to come in; I'm hoping the Metros are sitting pretty with a 4-6 run lead in the last frame.

God, I hope Rolen sits Game 7. He certainly wasn't the only problem tonight, but he's just killing us at the plate.
