Some people just don't take disappointment very well I guess.

    A simple - "we let'm off the hook - we'll get'm next time" - woulda been enough I think.

The poor guy was just too frustrated I guess.

  • That franchise needs someone to get pissed and get in the face of those players. To many mental errors to win, and they gave it away.

I've seen that clip a few tmes now, and I still have no clue what he's talking about. image
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
  • As a Vikings' fan, I recall 1999 when the Vikes were supposedly unstoppable. Cunningham, Moss, Carter, etc. Lose to Atlanta in NFC Championship because Denny's collar got a bit too snug. Rather than go for the win with time running down in regulation, Denny sits on the ball and plays for overtime. Ooops.

    Poor coach, despicable human being.

OT, but cool Stones vid there, pre Brian Jones death no less. And, can you believe how young Keith Richards looks! What year is that from? I am guessing 1968.

  • I don't blame DG for the tirade. I think passion is great. His point was that the Bears are not unbeatable and the game-plan they devised was very solid. The Bears offered him no surprises and thus, his club should have held on. His guys just got careless and that drives a coach nuts. I like Green more now than before.

He's pissed because he had a gameplan that completely dominated a much better team, and his players just gave the game away in the final 5 minutes with horrible turnovers, poor tackling, and a missed field goal. I can certainly sympathize.

They didn't give it away, the Bears took it away. The 2 defensive TD's and the punt return had nothing to do with the Cards giving it away.

The Bears actually tried to give the game away, not the Cards. I'm surprised Grossman didn't fumble the kneel down...image
