Stolen Coins

I recently mailed a few coins (fortunately only $95 worth) to a buyer in VA.
At some point, while in USPS custody, someone removed the insurance sticker,
ripped the envelope in half, and took the contents. The leftover scraps were
then delivered to the buyer.
Although the coins are not particulary expensive, they are unusual.
So if anyone sees these items being offered for sale, please let me know.
I guess in this case, theft is a form of flattery since the items stolen were
concept pattern dollars that I designed.
Anyway, here are pictures identical to the three ICG-certified coins that were taken:

I hope you kept the insurance counter stamp from the P.O. course your customer is going to have to activate a claim. There is a form 1505 or something like that to report missing/vandalized mail to the USPS. The slabs may be in the lost & found dept.

There is no way that the theif could know what coins were in there. The slabs were contained in one of those sticky corrugated cardboard foldovers (sealed along all four edges.
I've been through this before (only twice before). I initiate the claim. I've got the blue insurance receipt, printouts of the eBay auctions, a printout of the Paypal payment, and pictures of the torn envelope from the buyer.
I have more of those same coins, so I'll send a new batch to the buyer. Then I'll have to wait a few months for the PO claim to go through.
