I notice there is at least one experienced dealer in on the bidding. Maybe the folks who say "nobody reads the listings" are correct.

EDITED TO ADD: This appears to be the first time that the seller has tried to sell something. Maybe he is just not bright, and thinks what he has done is "OK." (Only the title is totally misleading. The body copy FINALLY reveals the truth.) lol

Here is his reply to my email saying I won't pay and i contacted the other bidders
read the auction. evidently you didn't. your threats mean nothing to me. go ahead and contact ebay. i already have about your threats and you have no right to contact other bidders cause evidently they can read unlike derilects like you. thanks for your concern.
His email reply makes him appear like a real jerk. He got caught, why play innocent? Read the auction he says...yeah, he is wanting to feast off of the unsuspecting who look at the photo to see what they are getting....he knows the game he is playing. I guess calling on people for their games is useless, just play them back with their own game and that's how to handle them.
By the way FavreFan, is the ebay ID you are using an alternate one in which you don't mind getting retaliatory negs? It seems like a pretty good record and an old one too. Or you have nothing to fear since you can easily make an argument to ebay about the misleading auction? Just wanting to learn.

What does the fact that 'other bidders can read' have to do with your right to contact them? Does this mean that all literate Americans must live in stifling isolation into perpetuity?
The obvious reason for that position - and the one they prefer that people focus on - is that they do not want to lose money on deals that might go down outside of their venue.
The less obvious reason - and the one they want no one to realize - is that they do not want to lose money when a victim is warned that a scam is in progress on the venue.

PGI is the ultimate basement grading company. The owner is a dealer who used to set up (and may still) at the Hollywood Park shows in L.A. He admits to slabbing his own cards, and actually stated to another dealer (I was looking at the next table at the time) that he doesn't only grade his own cards, and that people are sending him their cards because "they apparently like getting 10s".
This was an ID I used at an old job to sell used crap. I forgot about it until this showed up. If I get a neg I could care less. I have my two regular Ebay accounts, one for selling, one for buying. The funny part is my selling account is 99.5% and my buying is 100%. I set the 2nd one up for problems with sellers. I got hit by Paul Deal with a neg on a Raw card he spent 25 cents on and a retalitory two for guys that did not pay.
I was glad to help these guys out last night. This seller is pissed. It is hilarious

Yup.
I only looked at his FB. Nothing ever left from a buyer.
I did not look for the one from a few days ago.
For the money he spent on his bad attempts, he
could have sent the thing to PSA and hoped to get
lucky. Now, he has even worse problems.

I put them a couple notches below PRO.
