Home Metal Detecting

Now I know why I like the Rolling Stones......

From wikipedia on Bill Wyman - Bassist of the Rolling Stones from 1962 until 1994:

Outside of Music:
Away from the Stones, Wyman pursued numerous interests including opening up the now succesful "Sticky Fingers Café" in 1989, a celebrity rock 'n roll-themed bistro serving American cuisine. These days he didvides his time between his manor in Suffolk and a house in the south of France.
Former Stones manager Andrew Loog - Oldham admits that of all the Stones, Wyman is the one most at peace with himself, and he continues to prove that there is life after thirty years in the most successful band of all time.
He is also an amateur archeologist and has a hobby of metal detecting.

  • Yes he has been detecting since he bought his 15th century home and started digging up goodies while working in his rose garden.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Well, now, I just gained added respect, since I never was a big Rolling Stones fan. Very interesting.
