  • ok a couple more questions, about appraisals, fleer genuine insider, jim thome, game used hat jersey bat, andruw jones gargantuan gear, bartolo colon, donruss 2004 press proofs black, #10/10, also i have a triad card that seems to be autographed by nolan ryan, any idea if it is real, i will post more of my cards, and some pictures soon.
  • ok i got some pics of cards that i have
  • Most recent player baseball jersey cards due to a saturated market are valued under $10 unless significant ie. hot rookie or have a patch. For example I pick up game used Dodgers players with 3 jersey pieces and a bat for around $5. Some companies flood their product with game used and that decreases the value. ex-playoff prime patches 2005. Some higher end product ie-Legendary cuts, will bring a higher value. A good place to find values is ebay current or completed auctions.

  • even if they are premier top tier, or extremely old players for example stan musial'spants, joe cronin's jersey, fred stanley, ken griffey sr. and former mvp al rosen's auto, or thome, hat jersey bat, a 10/10 colon, or an andruw jones jersey, mike piazza patch etc. (by the way I have all of those cards and more)
  • Yeah those cards you just listed are "better". Sounds like you need to pick up a Beckett, search ebay or sign up thru Beckett online to use their pricing. Most numbered under 25 wont have posted prices so current/past ebay auctions are the way to go.

    Good Luck

Realistically, most of what you have sounds like basic, 3 per box "hits" in current products.

I collect a current player (Ben Sheets), and sell most of my current stuff to finance that operation.

If I were on eBay buying this stuff, I would expect to pay:

    Musial GU pants: $10-12
    Joe Cronin GU Jersey: $6
    Al Rosen auto: $8-10
    Fred Stanley GU: $2
    Ken Griffey Sr.: $2
    Jim Thome Hat/Bat/Jersey: $6-8
    Andruw Jones Jersey: $2
    Bartolo Colon parallel #'d/10: $1-2
    Mike Piazza patch: $5-8

That's the thing about this "limited" current stuff... If you make a GU pants card of Stan Musial, # it to 50, and then repeat across 30 products over 3 years, you don't have a limited card. You have at least 1500 GU Musial pants cards available to buyers... at least.

If you don't have a big-time, 5 color patch, or a piece of jersey from Ruth, Mantle, DiMaggio, Hank Aaron or Clemente, or an autograph of Pujols, Jeter, Griffey, etc.... What you're holding is basically worth a buck or two.

Probably not the answer you're looking for... But I've bought and sold enough of it to know...

  • have you heard of the brandcalled triad?
  • Nope. Never. I googled and found speakers, hospital and this-

Triad (Simplified Chinese: ÈýºÏ»á, Traditional Chinese: ÈýºÏ•þ; pinyin: S¨¡nh¨¦hu¨¬; literally "Triad Society") or (Simplified Chinese: ºÚÉç»á, Traditional Chinese: ºÚÉç•þ; pinyin: H¨¥ish¨¨hu¨¬; literally "Black Society") is a collective term that describes many branches of an underground society and organizations based in Hong Kong and also operating in Macau, Taiwan, mainland China, and countries with significant Chinese populations such as Malaysia, Singapore and also Chinatowns in Europe, North America, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

There are more than 57 triad groups that are active in Hong Kong; some of them are no more than small, local street gangs. The larger groups, including the Sun Yee On, Wo Shing Wo and 14K, are syndicates of sophisticated criminals, mirror images of such similar western empires of crime as the mafia.

Their activities include drug trafficking, money laundering, illegal gambling, prostitution, car theft and other forms of racketeering. A major source of triad income today comes from the counterfeiting intellectual property such as computer software, music CDs and movie VCDs/DVDs. They also trade in bootleg tobacco products.

Regulars to the old Open Forum use to create threads with meaningless "+1" posts just to increase the post counts. They were cheating their way to "Choose Your Own Title" status.

It was a tongue-in-cheek stab at Chippy, who managed to reply to himself five times in succession, thereby giving the impression that he was cheeting.

Or that he is mentally challenged and likes talking to himself.
  • Ok thats what I assumed. Thanks.

I never even changed mine. It just changed on its own !? and actually its different now again. As long as it doesnt say something like "scammer".
