A couple crackout upgrades
Coin 1
I had 3 1890cc MS62PL Morgans (all PCGS) and was looking to upgrade to a 63PL for about a year - so I sold 2 of the 62's and kept the nicest.
My first purchase was this one at ANR. I couldn't believe that I was bid right up to my overly generous max bid - I was expecting at least a $100 cushion on the coin, oh well. Anyway, the ANR people have an awesome photographer, b/c I wasn't overly impressed w/ the coin. In fact I liked my 62 better which in hand is actually less baggy.
Next up was a 63PL at Broken CC. I had to buy it as they practically gave it away at $1015 dlvd, w/ payment via cc. Good guys over there at Northern Nevada. Nicer than the ANR coin & less baggy than my 62, but I still like the 62 better b/c deeper mirrors and stronger cameo.
So I decided to crack out my 62PL and send it in......came back 63PL. Now I own 3 1890cc MS63PL Morgans - when it rains it pours. Here she is:
Coin 2
Noticed this MS63 1891 Morgan on Heritage bought on a last second whim as she looked to have a pretty good shot at an upgrade. Original coin w/ nice perif toning. Cracked her out, and she came back MS64:

Would you recommend people crack out coins and try this at home
Practice makes perfect & nobody is perfect. So, practice being nobody.
Gotta get me a couple of them.
