What's wrong with this Lincoln?

I saw this ad in our Sunday paper yesterday and noticed something peculiar about the "Lincoln" in the artwork. image

I wonder if they're handing any of those out to customers?image

Aren't banks supposed to know a thing or two about money? image

The banks here are hyping colorized coins - anything to make a buck.

At least now you might have a chance of getting something not quite as rare as the one shown

Looks like those 3" coasters. Could become a rare collectors item!

They used to be called "First Federal Lincoln", right?

I think it was intentional since the bank started in 1906.

I'm sure you're right. The bank started in 1906 and has "Lincoln" in it's name ergo a 1906 Lincoln.

Somebody didn't do their homework before writing this one up!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Put it right next to my 1906 Walking Liberty DOLLAR that my friend got from a "little old guy in Hong Kong that didn't know it would be valuable since it was such an old US Dollar" image

You guys are all laughing but the joke is on you. Nothing wrong with dating a "lincoln" 1906 if you are Lincoln bank and it's the year it was founded. They could care less if they are wrong. The ad is getting notice, isn't it?? That's what advertising is supposed to do...
