"DOMINATION" "DOMINATED" what is your definition?

I certainly would not use the word domination in any manner to describe a 1pt game or even a game with a 14 point difference in football.

I would say beating someone 21-0 might be construed as dominating but beating someone 42-21 would not.

In baseball I would say that beating the other team by a 10 spot could be construed as dominated unless the score was 25-15 or something like that.

I see this word thrown out by a lot of smack talkers here and IMO it usually shouldn't be anywhere near the sentence where they are using it.

Chiefs were dominated this week. Bucs dominated no one.

Domination occurs when the other team doesn't even have a chance. When the game has been decided by the end of the first half. That is domination. You can dominate someone in the first half a la the Rams, but if you don't finish the job, it doesn't count.
