Some nice things available this week. Some are cheap and some are not, but they are all attractive for what they are. I will try to get pics up over the next few days; email for pics in the meanwhile. I have many of these coins imaged already.
Prices are firm and include insured delivery. I take check or money order; Paypal OK but I’ll ask for 1.5% additional (i.e. you and I split the fee). Personal check waits to clear before I ship (7-10 bus. days, usually) if we haven’t done business before. Lots of board member ref’s available. 7 day no-question return.
PM or email mirabela@sover.net if interested.
1964 Washington 25c, MS64 with fabulous “Crayola” toning from one of those old feltboard year-set cards. Excellently pretty. Looks gem, but under magnification some hairlines are evident among moderate die polish in the obverse fields. $8
1964 Kennedy 50c, MS64 – the twin to the quarter above. Very pretty. $8, or $14 for the two coins together.
1890-CC Liberty $5, PCGS AU55. Attractive with light green accents on flashy, semi-prooflike surfaces. Good luster, no major marks. $660
1882 Liberty $2.50, PCGS AU55 (OGH). Flashy and completely prooflike with frosted devices against black mirrored fields. Dusting of darker original tone. Very pretty & truly scarce. Original mintage 4,000. A light scratch on the reverse is all that stands between this coin and an AU58 grade. Last time I checked, Heritage hadn’t sold this coin in this grade since 1993, and the combined PCGS and NGC pops in all grades are fewer than 200 coins. $465
1847 Coronet Large 1c, choice VF. Nice light brown surfaces; a very minor obverse rim bump is the only detraction. A very nice type coin for the price -- $27
1943-D Jefferson, MS64+ and the faintest mushiness beneath column 3 away from FS. Nice, light pastel album tone. Pretty! $14
2004-P Peace Medal 5c rolls, three for $37 shipped
1948 & 1953-D Roosevelt 10c, both MS63 or a bit better with colorful and attractive Whitman album toning. $10 the pair.
1941 Walking Liberty half, XF45 just a nice, lustrous lightly circulated coin. Light original tone. $6.50
1946-S BTW 50c, PCGS MS64 (rattler). $45 light gray/white original skin over excellent luster, no major marks or distractions
Group of 3 Carver/Washington 50c: 1952, 1953-S, 1954-S. First two grade 63, the 54-S 62; all three with light white/gray original skin. $42
1972-S Kennedy 50c, gem dcam proof (raw). Light honey toning & a few very trivial flyspecks. $6
1928-S Peace $1 PCGS AU58, bright & flashy with very light original skin. Some heavy die polish in obverse fields, but very free of marks & looks unc. $85

Counterfeit 1652 Pine Tree shilling, light but reasonably good looking. No copy mark. $7 on hold
Counterfeit 1776 Continental Dollar, holed. Heavy – pewter or something. Aside from die alignment (off by around 20 degrees from the real thing), it looks pretty reasonable. Not copy protected. A neat collectible. $9 on hold
1912 Liberty 5c, XF with colorful target-type album toning, especially on the reverse. Pretty, and unusual as such. $25 on hold
1892 Columbian 50c, AU50 with gorgeous, deep blue, auburn & orange album toning over flashy luster, especially on obverse. Nice target effect on the ship side. Very handsome. $17 on hold
1929 Indian $2.50, PCGS AU55. The most attractive quarter eagle for the grade you will ever see, with deep auburn and green original patina over nice luster. $275 on hold
1908-D W/M Indian $10, NGC AU58. Superb for the grade, with a good strike, nearly full luster, and only a few noteworthy bag hits. $560 on hold
1932 Washington 25c, raw AU58. Probably dipped at some point, but with wisps of light brown secondary toning now. Looks 63 or better until you get out a loupe. $28 on hold
1921 Peace $1, VF35. A hair’s breadth from XF and original as sin, with ample luster in sheltered areas beneath medium green/gold/brown skin. Very, very handsome. Find me another circ 1921 as pleasant as this and I’ll eat my hat. $98 on hold
