'Best' stat line was in 1960 when he had 170 IP, 262 Walks, and 262 Strikeouts.

In 1962 he had a breakthrough under Earl Weaver, 160 IP, 114 BB, 192 K's. It translated to a 3.02 ERA. He was only 23 years old at the time. Then he hurt his arm and his velocity was not the same. Who knows what could have happened. A 23 year old who finally started to harness his control.
