Seriously, though, it's well known that Adolph was an avid error coins collector, that's why he carried this "mule" around in his trousers. I actually have his original trousers, so if you decide to buy the coin - we can do DNA comparison image Don't ask me how I got 'em, though.

What would you pay for this coin if PCGS slabbed it with the Hitler provenance?

I have in my library a book entitled I WAS HITLER'S DOCTOR (by Kurt Krueger), and another called THE KAISER AS I KNOW HIM, by Arthur Davis, Kaiser Wilhelm II's dentist.

I mention this only in passing, with no claim to having Hitler's moustache or the Kaiser's wisdom teeth in my bank vault.

Oh man, that is too funny. Is the seller really serious? This almost looks like a spoof auction that Russ, aka compucheap, would post.

Wasn't there also an ashtray made from Hitler's skull that was used by Stalin? image

Literally, nothing... if it were truly Hitler's, I would be disturbed to have something like that as a centerpiece of my collection. For the same reason, I don't collected Lodz Getto coins even though a lot of other collectors of early 20th century Poland-related coins do collect them.

But to each his own, I guess.

I'm sure I couldn't afford it, but it'd be interesting to see what such an item would realize. - Preussen
