Set Retirement Question.

Does anyone know if you retire a set, does that prevent you from using the coins in a different category? I do know if you retire a set that the coins can't be used in the same catergory. Thanks in advance you your help.

You can use it if the set is different, but it CAN even be the same type. I have the same 43-D in my var NB set now that I had in my basic with bands set that is retired. It is one of the few coins I did't sell.

I retired my #4 ranked late date walker set and am using the 1943-S MS-67 Walker from that set in my newly begun half dollar type set. Yes it can be done.
