Question regarding border of $1 Note

I received this dollar bill as change and the border is off on the obverse and the reverse is even more noticeable.
I was going to show a scanned photo, but I felt this is not a rare thing so I am just asking the question.
The border is off by about a 1/4 inch, I could be wrong about the size of the difference, but when you look at this bill you know it has been trimmed badly. Should I hold onto it or trade it in for two rolls of Wheaties?
