1915 Indian Head $5?

hi all, i came across what looks like a gold 1915 indian head $5... except its tiny. i didn't wanna get it yet because i'm not sure what it is. it looks gold, has the exact same design, but is smaller than a dime. i always thought these coins were nickel sized? any ideas what this might be? old play money or a replica?

are you sure of the date?
the $1 indian head is smaller than a dime,but no 1915
the $2.50 indian head is about dime size

yeah, i'd say its even smaller than the pre-54 $1. which is what leads me to think it was part of a pendant (tho no holes) or something. also, you know how on the reverse, the image is usually turned 180 degrees? on this, it isnt =T
